The Steele Family Foundation
About Us » Logo & Significance
Colours
Our family finds its origins in the United Kingdom, in both Scotland and England, with national flags dominated by the colours blue and red, respectfully. For this reason, these bold colors were chosen for The Steele Family Foundation logo.
Notice, the placement of these two colours. This was designed purposefully to create a division between the earth's foundation (where the root cultivates), and the atmosphere (where the tree grows).
Symbols
Tree
Symbolizes growth and nourishment. A tree and its branches provides one with shade and shelter against nature's harsh elements. Trees also bear fruit and are a source of nourishment and life.
Circle
Symbolizes connectivity, community, wholeness, endurance, and safety. This fits perfectly in line with The Steele Family Foundation's mandate.
The letters "S" and "F"
Look closely at the image, and you will see the shape of an S and F to represent the "Steele" name and the word "Family" respectively.
